August 04, 2003 Forms completed.  Foundation walls poured.
August 05, 2003 Foundation crew returned and removed concrete forms.
August 12, 2003 Earthwise Excavation returned to backfill the new foundations and install foundation drainage pipes which are connected to gravel filled stormwater catch basins at the rear of each home.
August 13, 2003 The initial framing began shortly after North City Lumber delivered two truckloads of lumber.  Construction of pony walls and installation of flooring joists was almost completed on the north house.  Most of the sill plates were installed on the south house.
August 15, 2003 First wall erected on the north house and sub flooring almost complete.   South house joists complete and ready for sub flooring.
August 19, 2003 Framing continues on both homes.  Two crews are working on the framing, with the north home being a little further along at this point.  Several photos from Monday show how fast things are going up.
August 21, 2003 North City Lumber delivers another load of lumber.  The north house will likely see the second story walls completed on Friday.  Meanwhile, the south house team appears to be slacking...  Evidently having way too much fun shooting Gummy Bears with air operated nail guns :)
August 22, 2003 The bay window framing was completed on the south house which is almost ready for second story joists.  Two second story walls were completed on the north house.  Roof trusses for both homes will delivered after the Labor Day holiday.
August 29, 2003 Brian and his team continue to complete the remaining second story walls on the south house.  Fred Olsen and his crew who were working on the north house will return next week to assist with installing the roof trusses.
